I love having a place in Second Life that is beautiful and private, where I can try on DEMO clothes and hair styles in privacy, rez things I’ve bought, and add personal touches to the decor. I love having a place I can call home.

But I also get bored hanging out in the same region all the time. One day I thought, “Wouldn’t it be cool to have a peaceful home on a private island but also to have several places on mainland waterways where I could launch my boat and explore?”

That’s what I’ve done. I have 12 mainland hangouts, all on sailable waters, including the Fairchang Isles, with easy access to the Blake Sea and Hawthorne on Sansara, around the corner from the L-Shaped lake. I plan to add at least 8 houses in various sailing areas.

As the resident of an Explorers home, you are eligible for a complimentary membership in The Intrepid Explorers Club. This entitles you to use any of the club houses whenever you wish. Members have rezzing rights at every club house, so you can launch your boat, or just hang out. You are also free to decorate the houses, long as you leave enough Li free for people to rez their boats.
